Leadership Military Professor, Palomar College Military Apprenticeship Program
Originally from Texas, Yvonne retired from the United States Marine Corps after twenty years of honorable service. She now serves as a professor for the Military Leadership Apprentice Program at Palomar College in San Marcos, California, where she mentors active-duty Marines as they work toward earning their General Operations Manager certification and pursue associate and bachelor’s degrees.

Amy Lesniak
CEO | Education & Workforce Development Consultant, One More Solution
Amy is a seasoned consultant with over a decade of experience in higher education and workforce development. Currently serving as the CEO of One More Solution, she leads efforts in developing impactful registered apprenticeship programs across various sectors, including ecommunications, renewable energy, IT, business, and healthcare. Her expertise extends to co-founding workforce-based startups, establishing strategic partnerships between workforce programs and higher education institutions, and facilitating apprenticeship competencies to convert into college credits.

Harry Leech
Director of Strategy and Program Development, Apprenticeships for America
Harry is the Director of Strategy and Program Development at Apprenticeships for America (AFA), a national non-profit and trade association for apprenticeship intermediaries dedicated to scaling apprenticeships in the U.S. to the same levels as international peers. Harry oversees research and state policy for AFA. Previously, Harry worked for the U.K. government as Head of Skills, overseeing funding for higher and vocational education.

Michael Larson
Executive Director, Area 1 Inside Electrical JATC
Michael is the Executive Director of one of the largest inside electrical apprenticeship programs this side of the Mississippi. Bringing a fresh perspective from outside the industry, Michael has been instrumental in evolving the program to meet the changing needs of the electrical field. His leadership is focused on intentional growth, modernizing systems, and preparing the next generation of electricians through a strong foundation of hands-on training and education. By blending proven traditions with innovative approaches, Michael is helping shape a future-ready workforce while reinforcing the program’s reputation as a leading model for apprenticeship excellence.
