About the Panel

Workforce Pell is one of the most significant expansions of federal financial aid in decades. Community colleges, training providers, and workforce boards are now moving from understanding the final rule to submitting programs and preparing for implementation.

Join us for a practical discussion on what Workforce Pell readiness actually looks like, including the operational decisions institutions are making today and the strategies needed to prepare for new accountability, reporting, and partnership requirements.

The first half of the panel will be a structured conversation with our experts. In the second half, we'll open the floor to attendee questions, so come ready to bring your own implementation puzzles and what you're seeing on the ground.

What You'll Learn

  •  How institutions are approaching program submission and approval, including whether to adapt existing programs or develop new offerings.
  •  Practical approaches to tracking placement outcomes, wage records, and the data infrastructure needed to support Value-Added Earnings requirements.
  •  Employer engagement models that move beyond advisory boards to create co-designed workforce pathways.
  •  Where readiness gaps are emerging, including data integration, credential value, capacity, funding stability, and learner outreach.
  •  Strategies for strengthening coordination between education and workforce systems to support successful Workforce Pell implementation.
